The team at 4 London Road in Horndean have held their second major charity event which raised in excess of £10,038 for Rowans Hospice who are looking to raise £7.5m to transform their Waterlooville facility.
The very popular venue received significant support from their suppliers and local businesses.
The £35 ticket was donated in full as due to very generous support from the suppliers who provided all of the food for the evening with the owners of 4LR funding the staff for the evening.
Local businesses also gave generously which meant there was a ‘spin the wheel’, raffle and also auction. Some of the donors included Portsmouth Distillery, Contemplation homes, General Wine, Cummins and Pope, Molland Projects ltd and Havant and Waterlooville Football Club.
Auction items included a hot air balloon ride for 2, half day in a Rolls Royce to Goodwood, a Tank driving experience, hotel stay with dinner, champagnes and many more.
The Tank Driving and Rolls Royce auction items were donated by Horndeanmatters.com and raised over £1,000.
In addition to the sponsors, sincere thanks are due to Elio and the team for organising the event, the owners of 4LR for giving up the nights potential sales to allow it to run, and of course, the customers who came and supported the event, and donated or bid so generously for the prizes.
