The next monthly Horndean and Clanfield litter pick will be on Sunday the 31st July and the usual meeting point will be at the top corner of Morrisons.
We will be meeting up at 9:30 and as usual providing equipment (pickers, bags, gloves) and some ideas on where to pick. Many of the group wish to target areas close to them which is great and we would love to see some new faces!
Please feel free to join us to deploy at 9:30 until 11:30! The filled bags will be collected by EHDC as usual.

Dear Guy. I admire the work that volunteers do to keep the Village looking resonably tidy, but why do the contractors who cut the verges – I beleive they are callled the Landscape Group? – make the situation worse by mowing over the litter and spreading it over a larger area. I noticed they have recently been out and about creating a complete mess all along Keydell Nurseries, Dell Piece and past ABC Van rentals. Also, who has hacked back the roundabout as you come off the A3 into Dell Piece exposing even more trash. This area is particularly vunerable to the litter louts but hacking back the vegetation and mowing over the litter does not improve things at all! Can we please use some common sense?
