Horndean Parish Council have purchased 3 defibrillators which have been placed around the Parish and available for use in an emergency. These are at Jubilee Hall, Napier Hall and Nicos Bakery in the village.
As a part of the package, Horndean Parish Council have arranged for the South Central Ambulance Service to attend Napier Hall – Portsmouth Road, Horndean, PO8 9NL – on Wednesday 27th January 2016 to perform a demonstration of how the defibrillators work.
Two sessions have been booked as follows
16:00 – 17:00 Main hall at Napier (capacity 90/100 people)
18:00 – 19:00 Committee room at Napier (capacity 30/40 people)
Each session will run for approximately an hour and all members of the public are welcome to attend this free event. You never know, it might just help save a life so please come along and see how these great pieces of equipment work!
Funding for the Defibrillators was provided by all 5 District Councillors from our devolved grant funds but well done to HPC for organising and planning the equipment!
