“Keep your garage and shed secure and record serial numbers”
Between 17th October and 18th October 2015 three bikes were stolen from an unlocked garage in Green Lane, Clanfield. The bikes are described as a silver Carrera, a black and red Specialised and a White, Green and Black Carrera with springs and suspension.
Please ensure your sheds and garages are locked at all times. If possible secure your bikes in the garage or shed with a padlock and chain, locked to something solid and permanent.
Please also check your bike to see if there is an identifiable code. This can often be found under the crank. Record details along with the make, model, frame size and colour of the bike, noting anything that could distinguish your bike from another. Camera phone photos are also worth taking of all items in sheds and garages.
You can also register your bike as well as other household goods for free at Immobilise
Please ensure you are vigilant at all times, calling the Police to report any suspicious activity, not just around your property but anything suspicious in your residential area. In an emergency call 999 or 101 for a non emergency. It is not too late to report any suspicious activity to the Police.
If you have seen anything suspicious in the Green Lane area on the dates above please contact the Police quoting reference 44150361889.
If you wish to be kept up to date with crime and community information in your area it is free to register at Hampshire Alert
