Some local good news – Highways England (used to be The Highways Agency) will be carrying out resurfacing works to the A3M between Junctions 1 and Junction 2. This is going to be carried out at night between the 14th September and the 16th October. Local residents will have some noise disruption but the resurfaced carriageway will result in a significantly quieter and safer road surface.
Thank you to George Hollingbery MP for passing on the good news to us.
No doubt they will divert along the 30mph Southdown Road as apposed to the former main London Road which is a 60mph
I hope they will come off at Junction 1 off slip but will ask the question!
