One comment on “Parish Play Areas Consultation

  1. I am a resident of Horndean but currently living temporarily in Denmark. Here it is cultural for kids to play outside no matter what the weather. Consequently they have great play areas and parks. My children’s favourite is a traffic park which has road markings and miniature traffic lights and zebra crossings. Kids can take their bikes/scooters there to practice road proficiency. Such a good idea. Let me know if you want photos. Generally, the parks are well thought out and similar to the fabulous Peel Park in style. They have great climbing equipment and encourage lots of active play. We are moving back to Horndean in June which we are very excited about, but we will miss the parks in Denmark. Really good to hear that the Council are focused on this.
