The busy B2149 Manor Lodge Road between Horndean and Rowlands Castle is being closed for 2 days on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December from 8:00am to 5:00pm to allow 70 trees to be worked on. Some of these are diseased, dying or dangerous and lean into the road. Regular road users will also be aware of several branches hanging down which need to be safely removed.
Some of the trees will be felled, some crown lifted and dangerous branches removed. A mix of native trees, including oak, beech and hawthorn trees, will be replanted to replace the ones lost.
The road will be closed from 8am to 8pm on Saturday 7 December and 8am and 5pm on Sunday 8 December.
