Over the next 6 weeks, consultations are underway across the county for Street Light replacement. This is good news for Horndean as many of our columns are life expired and rusting. Conservation areas will get a style of column that is more suitable for the heritage of the area, but generally the lighting will be low energy lighting which is capable of being dimmed. the neon yellow lighting that remains in areas will also go as only white light lamps will be fitted.
Works are phased depending on the type of road, but due to start around September 2013.
