The Remembrance day service in Horndean which is organised annually by Horndean Parish Council had a record turnout this year with estimates of 800 to 1000 attending.
The parade was very well represented by local organisations including Royal British Legion, Army Cadets, ATC, Scouts, Guides and Brownies.
Vice Admiral Sir Geoffrey Dalton KCB and wife Jane led the traditional remembrance day message:
“When you go home, tell them of us and say, For your tomorrow we gave our today”.
The Parish Council has some great photographs which were taken by Cllr Veitch and can be viewed here: http://www.horndeanpc-hants.gov.uk/gallery/gallery.pl
Thank you to the Blendworth Brass Band and also Pam from HPC who organised the ceremony on behalf of The Parish.
