October and November will see some interesting events at EHDC as the Government Inspector comes in to approve the District Councils Local Plan.
The Local Plan is how EHDC wish to see the district develop over the next 15 years, and covers the strategy for Whitehill Bordon (The Eco Town with 4,000 new homes), social housing provision, and protection of our settlement gaps, amongst other important local issues.
After many man years of work to assemble this large plan, approval will rest on the views and opinion of just one man.
